Jiahao Ge (b. 2002, Beijing, China), also known as Fred, is a visualizer who navigates the intersections of reality and periphery to produce boundary-defying works. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture at SCI-Arc (2020–2025) with a continuous scholarship. Driven by an enthusiasm to exceed expectations, Ge is a follower of the discipline and a leader of manifestation. His works are not merely transcending visual expression but integrating other sensory dimensions, particularly through soundscapes as a form of storytelling.
Ge’s connection to architecture began in childhood, visualizing isolated worlds inspired by stimuli while playing on his bed. This imaginative instinct grew during middle school, where an encounter in selecting furnitures for his parents ignited his curiosity for colors, shapes, and spatial design, leading him to pursue architecture.
As an initial member of the “Re Corbusier” community, Ge has contributed public events and published works, including his project “Fruits of Confrontation“ as SCI-Arc Expansion, under the guidance of Zeina Koreitem. In 2023, he served as a Teaching Assistant for Jennifer Chen. Four of his studio projects have been featured on SCI-Arc’s official Instagram.
